Probowl

Every year, my family and I go to the Probowl. The whole planning of the day and the actual actions of the day can be stressful and sometimes overwhelming. Our family needs a lot of cooperation in order to make our Probowl day go smoothly every year.

I have gone to the Probowl since I was a little child and every year we basically have the same rigorous routine. But this year our family routine changed a little because of the change in the game time. All of the other games started around two-o-clock in the afternon but this year the game started at eleven thirty in the morning. The parking gates opened earlier because of this change. Our routine started at five in the morining this year.

The routine is: first, we wake up and get dressed. Then we pack my Dad's truck and head to my grandparents house to pack up the truck with stuff they cannot fit in their van. After we go to my grandparents house, my family meets at the Arizona memorial parking lot. But while the rest of the family is at the Arizona Memorial parking lot, one member of the family had been dropped off before and is waiting to call us when the police and security are letting people line up. When we get the signal, we jump in our cars and drive and wait in line. They usually let people line up five minutes before the gates open. Our family cars finally get into the Aloha Stadium parking lot and we find our usual spot and park the cars in parking spaces around shady trees. Next we all unload the cars and set up our tailgating party. Then we party till fifteen minutes before the game. At fifteen minutes till kick-off, the family goes into the stadium. We watch the game and cheer for our teams. While we are in the stadium, we are always eating, yelling, and having fun. The game ends and then we tailgate for an hour and a half more. Finally we pack up the cars and clean up our area.

We leave the stadium and the first stop we make is back to my grandparents house. There we unload all of my grandparents stuff she could not fit in their van before. So my dad helps my grandpa put everything away.

Finally, we head home to take showers and get some rest. The whole Probowl day is very exhausting and very fun at the same time. I love Probowl!!!
